Genevieve Marciniak

Genevieve Marciniak is a consultant with expertise in international cultural policy.

She currently works with governments, international organisations and cultural institutions on major, multi-stakeholder research projects that enable clients to make lasting social, environmental and economic impact.

Genevieve’s work combines rigorous analysis with a strong intercultural sensibility built from working in over 40 countries. Her recommendations are both globally informed and locally grounded, enabling clients to align cultural ambition with broader development goals.

Her recent projects include major initiatives for UNESCO, Bloomberg Philanthropies, the World Cities Culture Forum, and research and strategy projects for clients including the British Council, Arts Council England and Creative Industries Policy and Evidence Centre.

Genevieve brings wide-ranging international experience from roles at the British Council, Venice Biennale, V&A and the Guggenheim.

She holds a BA in Modern History from the University of Oxford and an MA in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art. She has also participated in the EU’s Global Cultural Relations Programme and the OECD Summer Academy on Culture, Creative Industries and Local Development.
